Even if the difference in lubricating oils used is significant, it can also affect the service life of the equipment. So, how should we choose lubricating oil when using it.
1、 Firstly, when choosing lubricating oil, we usually consider the oil recommended by the manufacturer. Generally, it is suitable for use with the manufacturer's products. However, it cannot be ruled out that some of the products recommended by the manufacturer may not be reasonable, so we need to choose the appropriate lubricating oil ourselves.
2、 When using lubricating oil, it is necessary to ensure its sufficient cleanliness, and we should know that the operation of gears and bearings during the operation of the reduction equipment has a relatively small impact on the thickness of the oil film. During normal use, the reduction gearbox may produce some abrasive particles or external pollutants, which can cause damage to the oil film. Some parts that accelerate relative motion may also wear out, and the composition of the oil film may also accelerate the smooth oil transformation due to high temperature and high pressure. So reducing the number of abrasive particles in lubricating oil can improve the cleanliness of smooth oil.
And through experiments, we have concluded that when the solid particles in the lubricating oil are relatively large, it can cause the fatigue coefficient of the bearing to be 10 or even 50 times higher than before.

Among them, we found that the better the quality of the lubricating oil, the less foreign matter it contains, which results in better performance in use.
